In 1989 she accepted an entry level postion with JCPenney Quality Assurance Center and within
2 years became the Menswear Merchandise Evaluation Engineer. In this position Rosanne managed textile testing and evaluation of JCPenney Men’s Sportswear, including JCPenney proprietary apparel labels such as Hunt Club® and St. John's Bay® labels in addition to other national brand merchandise. She coordinated and managed research projects providing the JCPenney brand development team with data to improve quality. She participated in the updating of internal testing standards and was a part of a team of engineers who prepared and taught portions of educational textile seminars to non-technical corporate associates in a way that was easily understood. She held this position until 1994 when she retired to stay home full time with her
then 6 month old daughter.
Rosanne has been sewing and designing for 30+ years. She is married to Michael Hood and currently homeschools their 4 children.
