Testimonials:

In 2005 my twins and one of the Hood children were in a dance class together. Mrs. Hood took it upon herself to sew the dance class their recital clothes. There were a few different techniques used on the wardrobe. The final result was stunning. The dresses were flowing and feminine, innovative and inspiring. Two years later my girls still pull them out of their dress up box, when they want to feel elegant and exciting.

I and my daughter Emily had the privilege to participate in an apparel class taught by Rosanne Hood in Williamson Area Teachers of Christian Homeschoolers Co-Op. Although I have sewn various projects over the years,
I learned a great deal by listening and watching Rosanne interact with the class. My daughter left the class excited for the next week to come.  Emily responded very well to Mrs. Hood and learned a great deal.
Rosanne is a thorough teacher. Her background and education speak for themselves.
I would recommend anyone to have their child in class with Mrs. Hood.

I've known Rosanne for more than 30 years.
She has always had a strong passion for sewing and fashion design.
Honesty and integrity are among her strongest qualities.  She enjoys working with others and is not shy about sharing her knowledge and expertise while allowing the other person’s own creativity to shine through.

I have known Rosanne Hood since she was a university student. Since then, I watched her many times as she created items for her school competitions, her family, and herself. She has a superior knowledge in garment design and dressmaking. She knows how to do it the right way and any project she works on has a professional look.

Last fall semester I was in Mrs. Hood’s Apparel class. I learned how the fashion industry works, how cotton is made, and how much work is put into making clothing. I learned how to work with patterns, and how to sew a garment together. It took me a long time to make a dress, but it was worth it because I got to learn. Now I like drawing my own designs and trying to figure out how things work. Even though the class is over, I still remember the things I learned and I still ask Mrs. Hood for advice. I think every teen girl should learn how to sew, even if you’re not going to be in the fashion industry. It’s a good skill to learn now, so that you can use it later on in your life.
